Easy Mocktail for Kids - Minty Blueberry Lemonade
This easy mocktail recipe for kids is so refreshing and hydrating. It's fun making mocktails for kids and watching their faces light up with delight. Minty Blueberry Lemonade is a very simple mocktail recipe that is popular in our household.
Servings 2 cups
- 1 cup blueberry juice (enough to make your ice balls)
- 1/2 medium lemon - thinly sliced
- 2 cups sparkling lemonade (you can also use sparkling water or still lemonade)
- 1 small handful fresh mint leaves
- honey - to taste
Freeze the blueberry juice in sphere ice molds overnight, or until fully set. Keep in mind that ice balls take longer to set than regular ice cubes because of the larger size.
To assemble each cup, add lemon slices against the glass. Add in the mint leaves. Pour in the sparkling lemonade (sparkling water, or still lemonade). Top with a blueberry ice ball. Mix in some honey, if desired. Serve immediately with a colorful straw.
